Future Projects
The GKPFL will provide a number of products and services to support the information and learning needs of its members and communities around the world. The bringing together of these products and services will transform the way that libraries connect with one another and provide services and information resources to global communities. The success of these products and services will depend upon the building of a strong foundation for the GKPFL in the areas of technology, governance, management, marketing and training. While not all will be available at the beginning, the services and products available to library members, communities, and institutions through the GKPFL will grow over time.
Four projects have been identified that will grow and develop the GKPFL. Projects have been chosen because they cross all sectors of the library community. As well each of these projects also builds upon and strengthens the other.
Digital Content Project
The digital content project will provide access to digital and electronic content through the purchase and licensing of electronic resources on a province-wide basis, where digital collection will respond to the diversity of its member and their learning & language needs.
Academic Scholarship project
GKPFL specialize in innovative, educational and moral value products and set high standards for quality services through academic scholarships. In future GKPFL will work with Schools, Colleges and Universities to promote and support new forms of scholarly communication. Our main aim will to develop & engage in building educational institutions.
Documentary of Human Positive Purpose of Existence Project
Documentary of Human Purpose of Existence Project is a pilot project, with a goal to deliver importance of positive purpose of existence information, and a chance to use an advanced yet simple technology which will provide them the right videos and electronic documentaries.
